What is hypnosis and what does it feel like?
Hypnosis is a 100% natural relaxed state of heightened awareness. It enables you to develop your unconscious resources and induce beneficial changes. How it feels, depends upon where you are, and which matters you’re addressing. Clients have reported feeling a variety of sensations such as lightness, floating, deep calmness, or warmth.
Is hypnosis safe?
Hypnosis is completely safe with no side effects. Clients are sufficiently aware of what is being said, and can feel in control at all times. Your mind and body will feel pleasantly relaxed, helping you to learn what you need.
How much does a session cost?
Regular sessions are 1 hour long and cost £80. Smoking cessation sessions are either 2 hours long or 2 x 1 hour sessions and costs only £160. You can pay by cheque or cash as credit card facilities are currently not available.
How long will therapy take?
Most clients attend between two and six sessions. Common issues such as phobias and unwanted habits can usually be dealt with in two sessions. When are appointments available?
Morning, afternoon and early evening appointments are available on different days throughout the week. Fresh Start Hypnotherapy is occasionally open on a Saturday.
Do you make home visits?
Yes, Fresh Start Hypnotherapy offers a home visiting service to individuals and group therapy to businesses. There is also a series of workshops and talks where people can meet and interact in a relaxed and creative atmosphere.
How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can made by phone or email. Clients can be seen individually or by arrangement with a friend or partner. John Newman is quite prepared to discuss issues with new clients, and arrange suitable appointments. You’re welcome to call Fresh Start throughout the day. If at any time John Newman is unavailable, simply leave your name and telephone number, and he’ll be happy to return your call.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Cancellation of an appointment with three or more days notice will not require payment. For less than three days notice, payment for the appointment will be required.
If you seek to reschedule your appointment with more than three days notice, there will be no additional charge provided the new appointment falls within one week and is attended.
